Happy International Day of Happiness!😃
This is a reminder that happiness is not a luxury, but a basic human right.
Happiness is needed for a healthier population, more harmonious societies and a thriving workforce.
It’s an investment with the best ROI for any country, company, school or home.
Today UNESCO’s Global Happy Schools Report was published - highlighting happiness as a means and goal of learning.
The 2024 World Happiness Report has been released, making an economic case for happiness to be a priority for countries and businesses alike.
In London, WOHASU ® has gathered changemakers and happiness experts for the past two days.
This is a global movement for happiness which I urge you to join to advocate for:
- Countries that create policies that recognise happiness.
- Schools that equip learners with the knowledge and skills for happiness.
- Companies and teams that prioritise employee happiness.
- Individuals who dedicate time to their growth so that they can spread happiness.
The science of happiness is surprisingly easy to teach, learn and implement.
That’s why I founded the School of Happiness, to make the science of happiness accessible to all to not only learn it but actually embody it.
To equip changemakers from managers to teachers and nurses with the skills to implement it in their work for a powerful ripple effect.
The rewards are enormous, as are the costs of neglecting this fundamental right.
We each have our role to play to create a happier world 🌎
